AgilePHP now supports REST web services in conjunction with SOAP and JavaScript Remoting. Rest web services are easily configured using annotations and processed accordingly using interceptors. Data payloads between the client and server side rest implementation are supported in XML, JSON, and YAML. These payloads are automatically transformed to corresponding model's on-the-fly. Rest web services can also be easily secured using the core framework #@BasicAuthentication interceptor, the Identity component, or your own custom authentication mechanism.
