Joomla is glad to announce the first beta release of innovative video component created for Joomla 1.5x – JomTube Video Gallery supporting local and remote server videos. Every user is welcome to estimate the new release and share the opinion on what is still to be upgraded and what elements and details are to be added to it, as your every remark will be taken into account.  

JomTube Video Gallery component includes the following features:

-       Detailed videos categorization and subcategories support

-       Managing and editing of  categories and subcategories  

-       Videos rating and comments option

-       Integration of JW Player

-       .flv format uploading support

JomTube Video Gallery also implies several modules:

Vertical Single Row Module which is responsible for displaying videos in the vertical column and manages them by 4 options - Highest Rated, Most Viewed, Featured and Latest Videos. The Module also allows you to set the very quantity of videos you want to show within the Vertical Column.

Video List Main Categories Module is included for the top level video categories you have entered to be automatically displayed in the list. Mind that this module does not support the subcategories and deals only with categories input in the top level.   

This is only the test version of JomTube Video Galllery so you may expect more updates, plugins and modules to be included in it in future
