TagsOne of the recent Development Summit joomla community members re-visited the road-map for Joomla 1.6. The features are given below and it is estimated that it will get completed before releasing the Joomla 1.6 alpha version.

I would say the big thing that needs to be done is make it so that we can easily install a plug-in or component once Joomla 1.5 is installed. Right now the installation process is not everything you need to do to get that to happen. I've messaged the Joomla IRC channel a couple of times on this one. Never been able to get a decent explanation as to why this doesn't work out of the box.
