SugarCRM, maker of open-source customer relations management software, announced the GetSocial Twitter module its “Project-of-the-Month†for SugarForge.org. The module permits Twitter access within SugarCRM.
Companies are now able to allow employees to leverage the power of Twitter marketing, but be assured of greater security. Among the module’s features: an audit trail and reporting for managers.
GetSocial can also provide businesses a picture of client activity and monitor their Twitter conversations related to their brand.
“The explosion of Twitter has left many companies searching for answers on how to adapt to the new service in order to provide better customer support, enhanced marketing efforts and maintain management oversight,†said Josh Sweeney, managing partner of ALT-Invest.
