30 June 2009 — Danfoss Electronic Controls & Sensors, one of Denmark's largest industrial companies, today announced it has selected Sun Microsystems' MySQL database to help power its air conditioning softwareapplication AKM, Adap-Kool Monitoring. The AKM software enables commercial facilities, such as grocery store staff, to monitor and control temperature levels inside store premises.
Embedding MySQL into AKM will enable Danfoss to increase the number of concurrent users of the application, while maintaining a high level of availability and performance.
