I grew up without computers. When I went to high school, no-one had a computer. In my senior year of high school I got lucky; I helped with setting up a DEC PDP 11-34 running Version 7 UNIX.
My life's never been the same since. Tar? ...debugged it. Csh? ...enhanced it. POSIX? SNMP? ...helped define them. For the past 30 years or so I've been working for companies big and small, even some of my own.
I like to help people with their challenging technical problems, I like to build robots that do surprising and amazing things, I like to help out on open source projects, I like to play guitar, and I like to swim. - Twitter Id
